It’s been an exceptionally busy autumn so far for the Dods Training team.

Our ever-expanding range of Open Courses continues to go from strength to strength with this autumn’s suite of courses already in full swing. Alongside our flagship programmes (including overview of government, advanced writing skills and Brussels explained) we have an exciting spread of new and revamped courses featuring expert trainers and high-profile guest speakers.

The end of the summer has also proven extremely busy for our UK team. Combining our unparalleled knowledge of the UK Civil Service and experienced project managers, the team designed and delivered part of the UK Fast Stream conference for this autumn’s new intake of Civil Servants. Won through a competitive procurement process, these two-day conferences are serving as inductions for 450 Fast Streamers and an additional 400 Fast Track candidates.

Our UK Single Client team has also rolled out an increasing volume of skills programmes for the Houses of Parliament as well as other private, public and third sector clients up and down the country. In addition to our flagship policy courses, the team have developed bespoke programmes on diverse subjects, proving they are constantly at the forefront of new knowledge and skills programmes. From social media handling to advertising standards and data protection to effective networking, the UK team’s portfolio continues to grow to serve the needs of it its clients.

In addition to running negotiations workshops in Tanzania, hosting a health-focused delegation from Shanghai and increasing the volume of our highly-praised EU training, the international team have also embarked on some exciting new ventures this autumn. Partnering with ILM, they’re running a Level 7 Diploma in Leadership and Management for senior delegations from the Gulf. Combining our expert knowledge of leadership and management within the Senior Civil Service, our policy expertise and unique access to high-level speakers and visits, the team have put together a unique offering which is already drawing interest from senior parties.
