Keith Tanner

Keith is a training and development professional with considerable experience and a broad portfolio of skills, achievements and qualifications. Beginning in London as a trainee teacher in 1979 he moved on to retail management, music industry print management and then as a senior manager in public sector education where he was responsible for commercial training, European and national education infrastructure and community projects.

He has worked as a learning consultant for Price Waterhouse Coopers and Tribal plc supporting the development of private, public and charitable projects and has considerable experience of working in the NHS, local government and the civil service.

Keith now works as a professional trainer, coach and business consultant specialising in leadership and management development, business and performance improvement, coaching and communications training, and project and partnership development for public, private and third sector organisations.

He is a qualified business coach and professional trainer, is a published training professional, a PhD graduate, and a Master Practitioner in NLP. He completed an MBA specialising in business communications and performance improvement. He is also training as a psychotherapist. 

Working with a range of partners Keith can offer skills and knowledge development workshops and/or accredited training in many areas including governance, business planning, strategic development, leadership and management, coaching and mentoring, communications development and improvement, personal and professional relationship management, marketing, motivation and influence, team building, dealing with difficult situations, train-the-trainer, coach-the-caoch and business consulting.

Keith is registered with the Institute for Leadership and Management (ILM), the Chartered Management Institute (CMI), the Association for Coaching (AfC) and is a Chartered Business Adviser (CBA).
