Sheree Dodd is a communications and training consultant with extensive senior level experience in government. She began her career in journalism and enjoyed many years as a political correspondent based in the Westminster lobby for The Mirror newspaper.
In 1998 she joined the Civil Service as Head of News in the Northern Ireland Office just in time for the Good Friday Agreement. Posts as Head of Media and Press Secretary to the Secretary of State in the Department for Work and Pensions and Director of Communications at the DTI followed.
In May 2005 she established her own communications consultancy and has worked for a range of public and private sector clients providing communications solutions as well as writing and policy expertise. Roles have ranged from acting as Media Advisor to the House of Commons Commission during the MPs’ expenses story to an interim Policy and Programmes Director for an NGO based in Brussels. She is current acting as Media Adviser to the Groceries Code Adjudicator.
