Bernard Genge is an ex Royal Navy medic where his interest with personal resilience began, and then deepened during and after the Falklands conflict where as a medic he was helping people with what we now know as post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). In 2007 he had a personal resilience book published and he has 40 years experience of working with this subject.
His style is engaging and inspirational and he has put resilience into his own life by completing over 130 marathons and ultra-marathons including a 102 mile running race, an ironman triathlon, endurance cycling in Europe and Vietnam and a walking trek across the Namib Desert in Namibia.
