It might have just started to feel like summer in London this week, but our summer series of open courses came to a close yesterday with our Putting Social Media to work course.
Once again our open courses and associate trainer have received excellent feedback. It just so happened that on the day former Home Secretary Theresa May moved into Downing Street and replaced David Cameron as Prime Minister another former Home Secretary Rt Hon Jacqui Smith was delivering our Overview of Government course at the Park Plaza hotel in Westminster. This made for a particularly interesting course as Jacqui was able to share her experiences, anecdotes and predictions for the new Government. Our trainers are keen to discuss current events and the implications they might have.
With everything that has happened in the UK in the last month as a result of 48% of the population voting in favour of Brexit, our open courses have made for excellent discussion and alterations, that are bound to enhance training, learning and development.
So what do these future changes mean for Dods Training and our open course offering? Well as our trainers are all experts in their fields, they will of course keep up to date with what is going on in the world and how it may affect business. This is especially relevant to our Government, Parliament and Policy driven agendas.
It is important to add that our soft skills training courses are just as popular as those mentioned above. We offer a wide variety of these types of courses, including Advance writing skills, presentations skills, note taking skill and stakeholder engagement. We decided to offer two dates as we want everyone to be given the opportunity to attend if they wish to do so. We at Dods Training understand that it’s not always possible to take a day out of the office, but the skills and learning techniques that you will develop from this day is only going to enhance your productivity and capability back at your work place.
